BitPix and HollyShorts partner Alta Global Media have announced their schedule for the end of 2023, with several exciting events in store for those who can attend. Taking place in several cities over the next two months, the company is ready to roll onto 2024 with a slate of great screenings and events. Alta Global Media (AGM), the Company that specializes in management, production, and marketing for international talent and media companies is unleashing the firm’s upcoming worldwide client conferences, panels, and events schedule for November and December.
The upcoming schedule comes on the heels of AGM recently organizing and participating in three signature events including:
- From Album Cover to Movie Posters: A Designer’s Journey: a special gathering highlighting Visionary creative director Kenny Gravillis, of Gravillis Inc., the go-to man for major Hollywood studios and top filmmakers seeking thought-provoking advertising campaigns and film posters moderated by Blacklist founder Franklin Leonard at Soho Warehouse
- An FYC Best Live Action screening at The Aster in Hollywood, presented by the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival: Darren Haruo Rae’s NISEI, Lloyd Lee Choi’s Closing Dynasty and Alden Ehrenreich’s Shadow Brother Sunday Moderated by Scott Mantz (KTLA, Critics Choice Assoc.)
FYC Screenings of Short Documentary WAORANI: Omede Beye Ante Nee Adani by Luisana Carcelén and JAMAICANOPROBLEM & Feature Documentary Deep Rising by Matthieu Rytz, Narrated by Jason Momoa
- AGM principal Steven Adams attended the African International Film Festival in Nigeria (aka AFRIFF) alongside Jimmy Jean-Louis in support of the festival’s showcase of the Award-winning independent feature RISE, which Jean Louis recently won Best Supporting Actor at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAAs). AGM recently came on board as Executive Producers of RISE.
- The International premiere of Babar Ali’s crime thriller JOHN, Executive Produced by Gwen Field at the 9th Edition of the Asian World Film Festival in Culver City, 9pm at the Culver Theater.

- Andrew Nadkarni’s BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY
Renowned ecologist Nalini Nadkarni studies “what grows back” after a disturbance in the rainforest canopy. After surviving a life-threatening fall from a tree, she must turn her research question onto herself to explore the effects of disturbance and recovery throughout her own life.
- Darren Haruo Rae’s NISEI
NISEI follows the 442nd, the purple heart battalion, a segregated Japanese American team who served in World War II. The film has had a wonderful festival run with more coming up.
