HollyShorts Announces Awards Nominees!

The 20th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival has wrapped up, but the final screenings won’t be the last we hear from those at the event. One of the biggest perks of submitting to HollyShorts is the chance to win big at the Festival, with some prizes being financial, and some even allowing filmmakers to become eligible for the most prestigious award in filmmaking, the Oscars. With four Oscar qualifying categories this year, several of these nominees could be in for a huge boost to their credibility and notoriety if they’re able to bring home the win here at HollyShorts.

Later tonight (as of this writing), the winners from the following group of nominees will be announced. Be sure to check back with us to see the full list of winners when the news breaks!

Note: Nominee list taken directly from the HollyShorts main page, which can be found here.

Tickets for the pre-awards event at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles, which is a screening of Lords of Dogtown with HollyShorts honoree Catherine Hardwicke can be found here as well, and awards show can be found streaming on BitPix.
