| The Oscar-Qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival has announced a new production Prize. The festival is teaming up with the London-based Hawk Films to award one screenplay competition winner with a $20,000 production prize. Hawk Films will develop and produce the award-winning script into a short film, and the filmmaker will have the chance to travel to the UK to meet the team and attend the shoot in person. The completed film will have its premiere at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in 2022. About Hawk Films Hawk Films is a production company founded by DoP and Producer Matthias Ashford.
