It’s an exciting time, as the much awaited announcement for the 17th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival has arrived! Given the difficulties of the past year, HollyShorts is pleased to say that this year’s short film exhibition will be the first of its kind for festival-goers, as last year’s virtual festival via BitPix makes it possible for those unable to attend in-person to be a part of the festivities, while also allowing for those who can be there to see the event with their own eyes.
The 17th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival will take place at the TCL Chinese Theater in HollyWood on September 23rd-30th, 2021, with the Awards Gala taking place on October 1st. It will also be available everywhere BitPix is supported during the event, for those around the world to enjoy!
Any filmmakers that are interested in participating in this year’s festival can still do so, with the deadline to submit your work for the 17th Annual Film Festival having been extended until June 25th! So anyone looking to take part in this highly-anticipated event should make sure to visit the HollyShorts website for more information.
The gala itself will feature the illustrious winners of last year’s virtual festival, which saw a record breaking seven Oscar nominations and two wins for the very talented creators that participated last year. From the Official Press Release:
