We reently closed the 21st Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, and with ten days of incredible films, it was recently announced who took home the prizes for best in their category, with several also gaining entrance into the Academy Awards for their placement here. The Grand Prize, which went to Trapped, a film by Sam and David Cutler-Kreutz qualifies for the industry’s bigges stage, as does the winners in the Best Live Action, Best Animation and Best Documentary Categories, with awards going to Andrés Ramírez Pulido for A Son and a Father, Jan Saska for Hurikán, and Irving Serrano and Victor Rejón for their documentary Voices From The Abyss respectively. A big congratulations to all of these winners, as well as the others who took home prizes at this year’s festival.
